HELP! gallery.. Empty HELP! gallery..

i was just wondering if anyone can tell me how the gallery works...?!
i want to make an album that everyone can see and add pics to it, but i can only make one called aimee's personal album or something and then any pics i try to add have to be approved first by the manager!
can anyone help!?
