Real: Ronaldo issue 'totally dead'
The Madrid supremo also responded to Sir Alex Ferguson's latest attack of the Spanish giants by claiming they would not be entering into a mud-slinging contest with the Old Trafford outfit.
Ferguson has been a fierce critic of Madrid for their part in this summer's long-running transfer saga involving Ronaldo, and the Scotsman vented his anger again on Thursday following fresh speculation linking the Primera Liga champions with the Portuguese winger.
It was claimed in a Spanish newspaper earlier this week that a Madrid director, Pedro Trapote, was quoted as saying there was an agreement in place for Madrid to sign the Ballon D'Or winner at the end of the season, to which Ferguson responded: "I would not sell them a virus."
Calderon has dismissed the possibility of a deal having been struck for Ronaldo though, telling the club's website: "Manchester United did not accept the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid this summer. From this moment Real Madrid focused on other objectives.
"It is absolutely false that there exists any agreement with Manchester United about this business, of which I am tired. The matter is totally dead and as such I don't want to talk about it anymore."
Calderon, who has been the target of most of Ferguson's ire, also responded to the latest comments made by the Red Devils boss about Madrid.
"Our club's code of conduct does not include insults, contempt, or a lack of respect to our opponents. Maybe for this reason Real Madrid are respected in all corners of the world," Calderon said.
"It is sad that a professional with the career of Mr Ferguson can make declarations like these, in addition to some of the other unfortunate things in the last few months.
"Despite that, Real Madrid will never respond with a lack of respect to Manchester United, to any of their directors, nor of course to their fans, for whom everyone has the greatest of respect."

Re: Ronaldo Case
I think Alex is acting very abusively to this, he says bad stuff to Reals Staff and Real dont say NOTHING about Man UTD, I think Alex needs to take a chill pill, or something, he needs to get some respect. Sorry, but thats just my opinion.
Re: Ronaldo Case

Ronaldo rubbishes Real link again
Ronaldo dazzled for United last season, scoring 42 goals in all competitions as the Red Devils won the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
That form led Spanish champions Real to pursue the 23-year-old during an unsuccessful summer transfer saga, which angered United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
However, Real director Pedro Trapote was quoted in December claiming that his club have a deal in place to sign the Ballon D'Or winner at the end of this season.
Ronaldo, though, has reiterated that the claim is false, telling United's official website: "There's always speculation, not just about me, but about the future of players all around the world.
"People were speaking about me this summer but that was normal because of what I did during the season.
"What people are saying now (the recent speculation about an agreement with Real Madrid) is not true.
"Who says that is a liar because I am happy at the club, I want to stay here. I feel at home here. I feel very happy here."
Meanwhile, Ronaldo admits he felt under pressure to impress after a summer of rumours, but was not worried that fans would turn against him.
"I think the people don't forget quickly what you do for the club," he added. "When I arrived at the stadium, to play (my first game of this season) against Villarreal, I felt a little bit of pressure.
"But the fans were very good and this is why I feel the Manchester United supporters are amazing.
"I love the fans because they have been brilliant with me, not just this season but every season. Like I said before, I feel at home in Manchester."
